3. What is Travel Content and What is Not
Since most social media platforms are general in nature, it is difficult to draw a clear line between what qualifies as travel content and what does not. Here, we provide some examples to help define those “red lines.”
3.1. Real Estate Promotions
🚫 Direct or indirect promotion of real estate for commercial purposes is NOT allowed.
✅ You can share experiences related to rentals, accommodation costs, and suggestions for lodging.
❌ No promotion of properties for sale or investment.
3.2. No Videos Focused on People
🚫 Videos where 80% of the frame is occupied by a person posing will be removed—even if it’s in a beautiful travel destination.
✅ People can appear in the video, but the main focus should be the location.
4. Interacting with respect
We want InspireTrips to be a safe and respectful space for everyone.
4.1. Respect Other Users
✅ Be kind and respectful in comments and messages.
❌ No bullying, insults, threats, or toxic behavior of any kind.
4.2. Respect the work of content creators
✅ When sharing videos from other platforms, always respect the original creator’s work.
✅ Always try to find content from the official source (e.g., YouTube channel of the creator).
✅ It is not mandatory but it is recommended to mention the creator.
If a creator doesn’t want their content shared on InspireTrips, they can disable the embed option on the original platform.
5. Reporting
If you come across content that breaks these rules, you can report it using the red flag available on each post. Our team will review each case and take necessary action.
5.1. Consequences of Violating the Rules
Depending on the severity of the infraction, consequences may vary:

3️⃣ Permanent Account Closure: For extreme cases like mass spamming, harassment, or repeated violations.

❓ Can I upload a video about my experience renting an apartment in another country?
✅ Yes, you can share pricing info, rental contracts, and personal experiences as long as it’s not an advertisement or real estate promotion.
❓ What if a creator doesn’t want their video to appear on InspireTrips?
If a creator doesn’t want their video shared, they can disable the embed option on the original platform (YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
❓ Can I promote my personal social media or blog?
✅ Yes, you can link your social media and blog in your profile or video description.
❌ Mass spam or self-promotion without adding value to the community is not allowed.
❓ Can I appear in my own videos?
✅ Yes, as long as the landscape, destination, or travel experience is the focus.
❌ If the video is focused on you and not the place, it will be removed.
