Koh Tao Viewpoint is STUNNING, shame you can’t enjoy it though 😂

The Koh Tao viewpoint is, without a doubt, one of the most impressive places you can visit on the island. The view is breathtaking, and it leaves you speechless as you watch the island unfold before you, surrounded by turquoise seas and the lush landscapes that define it.

However, there is one thing I can’t help but mention. The Nang Yuan Viewpoint, while absolutely beautiful, comes with a long wait of at least 30 minutes (or more, depending on the time of day), and what could be an experience of calm and awe turns into a constant wave of people just wanting to take the perfect photo.

It’s curious because the place is so majestic, but the flow of tourists makes it lose a bit of its tranquil essence. It’s like people are coming in on a conveyor belt of photos: they climb up, take the photo, go down, and the next one! The wait is so long that when it’s finally your turn, you’re more focused on the photo than on enjoying the view.

Still, while all this might sound like a complaint, the reality is that the Nang Yuan Viewpoint remains one of the most stunning views in Koh Tao. If you manage to find the right moment, or the patience, the view will leave you speechless. And despite everything, I would do it again, because it’s one of those experiences that truly only happen once in a lifetime. So, even if it’s crowded and you have to wait your turn, it’s still a place you should visit when you’re on the island.
