The viral food spots in Bangkok you can’t miss
If anyone is going to Bangkok, here are the three viral food spots they absolutely must note:
First place: J Chula, a Michelin-starred restaurant.
It’s so popular that you absolutely need to get a ticket and wait in line. After more than an hour of waiting, it was finally our turn. They’re famous for their Tom Yum Mama noodles, which they prepare with four egg yolks to make them super smooth. The price is around €16, but if you order it with crab, like we did, the broth has an incredibly delicious flavor and a spicy kick. All this makes the wait totally worth it.
Second place: Milto’s House.
This place is known for its fluffy buns. We tried the Nutella bun with chocolate marble, which at first was so hot that we had to wait a little before eating it. The texture was soft, but somewhat dense. Although with the chocolate, it was a bit sweet, the best option was to dip it in coffee, which made it much more flavorful and enjoyable.
And finally, P’Tipai.
In the ION store, the decoration is impressive. We ordered the famous PTI with shrimp wrapped in egg, which cost around €4. It’s a PTI with a sweet touch that, at first, didn’t quite convince us, but after adding some lime, fish sauce, and condiments, the flavor improved a lot. It was delicious, though not the best PTI we’ve tried.
